The Exquisite £13,000-a-Week Parisian Suite Where 'Catwoman' Jocelyn Wildenstein Spent Her Last Months The opulent suite at Hotel Balzac, Paris, where Jocelyn Wildenstein-anointed "Catwoman"-drained a fortune of £13,000 weekly during her final months. The extravagant suite boasts magnificent Eiffel Tower views and served as her sojourn with now partner Lloyd Klein.
Wildenstein lived a life rife with extravagance and controversy, particularly since her famous divorce cost her $2.5 billion after one bill. Yet, despite being hounded by money matters and legal troubles, she stood for a life of luxury and amassed an estimated £275,000 bill between August and her final day on New Year's Eve, when she turned 84.
Her death was of pulmonary embolism, as confirmed by Klein, who has remembered her as an icon. Wildenstein earned the name "Catwoman" for her strikingly different and perceptibly altered appearance after going through so many cosmetic operations. Her life is an extremely interesting mix of glamour and the drama that remains locked up in legacy.
